Maine Literary Festival
At the fourth annual Maine Literary Festival, writers and authors were from diverse cultures and ethnic experience, whose award-winning novels, non-fiction and poetry are astounding readers and critics with their beauty, insight and reflection. The title of the festival was “Cross-cultural Experiences: Literature of New Voices in America”
Founded in 2006 and held annually in November at the Camden Opera House, the Maine Literary Festival is a scholarship project of the Midcoast Branch of the American Association of University Women. All proceeds from the Festival are applied to the Midcoast AAUW’s scholarship program for young women and girls who might otherwise not be able to attend college.
