Winterfest
Winterfest is a revival of a historic event called Camden Winter Carnival. Camden Winter Carnival was celebrated in the late 1930’s and discontinued in 1941. Winterfest brings together many diverse community groups, especially youth, into one event in the Camden parks for the enjoyment of all. Winterfest is a community celebration of winter.
The centerpiece of Winterfest activity remains the Community Ice Carving Event. Groups come together to carve blocks of ice into crystalline statues.
With or without snow families are encouraged to come and play. Horse and wagon rides are offered free of charge. The library has crafts for children and live music. This event is fun for all ages.
